SO many things..wow..the Middle East is one crazy trip. There is so much to say about it, I dont know where to start! So how about just a recap of the trip. First of all I'll start by saying I was nervous from the get go that our luggage was going disappear on our trip. I was stressing out about it days before we left. And sure enough! thats exactly what happened. :( Still no sign of them (except for Will's). But anyway that happend because we missed our connecting flight from Paris to Doha. And so we stayed a night in France and caught the next flight out in the morning. Which we almost missed because the concierge told us the airlines called and said our flight was canceled and we get to stay another day! But Will was smart and didnt believe him. When we FINALLY arrived to Doha, we were extremely jet lagged and exhausted. Then the fun began! We got a major culture shock and got to see amazing things! We rodes camels, off roaded on sand dunes, picniced in Arabian tents in the middle of the dessert next to a random sea/lake thingy. We experience authentic Indian, Turkish and Arabian food. Prayed with the Muslims. And Will got a shave from an Arab! We explored the souks, shopped, hit up the horse races and somewhere in between it all we had a normal Christmas on a sunny, blue, clear-skied, hot, sandy day with turkey, potatoes, sugar cookies, home made bread and pumpkin pie! Where it was just another day for the Middle Easterns! All in which I got to experience with a kid constantly on my hip and the clothes on my back! Fun stuff! Luckily Will's dad was nice enough to take pix for us and give us a copy of all 499 if them! Thats right! So here is literally just a glimpse!
