We celebrated Kaiya's 3rd birthday this weekend since we will be out of town for her actual birthday. Kaiya was SO excited to have it. She had been talking about her birthday for months prior to the actual day! She had been mapping the whole thing out making sure that I had everything down so that it could be just the way she envisioned it. And I think I got pretty close to the way she wanted it to be. She had a Princess themed party as you can plainly see from the pictures and had a Cinderella cake, just for her mind you (don't forget with sparkly sprinkles, of course). She had her princess dress with a princess crown and princess hair lol. She sat in her princess chair decorated with princess balloons and had everyone sing Happy Birthday to her (which she thoroughly enjoyed). She was spoiled with "Princess-ness". Haha. I had a blast putting it all together and watching her enjoy it with her closest friends, but felt a little bad that most of them were boys had to deal with her girly-ness. Haha, they secretly loved it too ;) I foolishly thought that after her birthday, we would stop talking about it and move on the day to day things, but sadly Kaiya still tells me that she's going to be getting things for her birthday lol. We need something new to look forward to!
